Papillon Belle is a new range of jewellery by Cape Town based Graphic Designer and Illustrator Audrey Botha. Inspired by two antique
brooches she inherited from her Grandmother made from real butterfly wings, Audrey created a range of collector's pieces consisting of real butterfly wings, encased in
glass and set in sterling silver frames. The pendants are engraved with the logo and year of manufacture, making it the perfect gift for a special occasion.
The butterflies are sourced from farming projects all over the world and are bred in a sustainable manner. The projects were started as a means to sustain the butterfly populations, while conserving the rain forests they depend on in order to survive. By purchasing jewellery from Papillon Belle, you are not only doing your bit for the
environment, you are also directly supporting the families in third world countries who breed and raise these delicate creatures.
