A family business founded in Italy in 1921 by Giovanni Alessi creating crafted products in metal for table and dining.

More than 250 designers such as Phillippe Starck, Richard Sapper, Rod Arad and Achille Castiglioni have created products for the Alessi Design Factory over the decades. It is estimated that close to 7500 items are produced daily and these are exported to more than fifty different countries worldwide.

The cross-breeding of different disciplines within design has led to both a gigantic collection and also to some of the most famous and influential products on the market. Two well known designs include the Michael Graves designed Bird-Whistle Kettle and the Phillippe Starck designed Juicy Salif Citrus Juicer.
